Reactivity 101
Reactivity 101 is a reward-based dog training class in Calgary designed to help dogs who struggle with reactive behaviour in real-world situations. This includes barking, lunging, fixating, or becoming overwhelmed around other dogs, people, movement, sounds, or everyday environmental triggers.
This class focuses on building practical life skills so your dog can feel calmer and more confident both at home and out in the world—not just on walks. Using modern, force-free training methods, we help you understand what’s driving your dog’s reactions and how to support them through it in a safe, structured way.
Instead of suppressing behaviour, we work on emotional regulation, confidence building, and clear communication so your dog can make better choices in real-life scenarios.
At Attrill Academy Canine Services, we use modern, force-free, reward-based training methods. We focus on addressing the underlying emotions behind reactive behaviour rather than simply managing symptoms.
Our goal is to help dogs feel safer, more confident, and more capable in real life—while giving owners clear, practical tools they can use in everyday situations.
